It is often a requirement of our customers be they regulators, consultants, building contractors, landfill operators, demolition contractors or disposal contractors, to require a level of certification not currently available to on-site techniques. Whilst we are involved in negotiations to attain MCerts accreditation for our on-site techniques at present this is not possible. Consequently we recommend that a small percentage (typically 10%) of the samples taken from site are sent for certified analysis at a laboratory. In this respect QROS has an established professional yet independent relationship with NRM, a laboratory local to us, which allows us to re-analyse samples once they have been through their sample preparation process. This additional complimentary service offered when using NRM through QROS for conformation of our on-site data will result in 3 data sets for the samples in question;

• Field results produced on the day by QROS
• Laboratory results (MCerts/UKAS if required) of the same samples
• Reanalysis of the laboratory prepared sample.by the QROS field instrument

   The reanalysis of the laboratory prepared material should generate a closer correlation with the laboratory certified data, which in turn supports the data generated on-site.  Correlation with the laboratory data using this system helps instill confidence in both customer and regulator in the on-site analytical data.
